This is a segment of a longer animation created for a client in the pharmaceutical industry. The purpose of the animation is to depict the irritation of the nasal mucus membrane by various pollens.
This portion of the animation allows a "pollen-grain's eyeview" through the human nasal passages.
The animation incorporates object instancing and procedural movement for the nasal hairs to simulate the effect of inhalation. Likewise, the interior mucus membrane is simulated through the use of procedural shaders.
